Healing | Through | EMDR

At Reclaim Retreat, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is one part of a larger therapeutic wellness experience focused on helping you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and work through some of the things you may have been carrying.

In a calm and supportive setting, you’ll have dedicated time with a trained EMDR clinician to explore experiences that may still be affecting you today and begin looking at them in a different way.

EMDR can help you process difficult experiences, gain new perspective, and begin to feel less weighed down by the past.

You don’t need to come in knowing exactly what you want to work on or having everything figured out. You and your clinician will decide together what feels important, and you’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

You don’t have to keep carrying it the same way.

Your Pace | Your Process | Your Journey

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to EMDR. Everyone comes to the retreat with different experiences, needs, and reasons for being there.

Your sessions are your own. You and your clinician will work together to decide what you want to focus on and what feels manageable for you. Throughout the retreat, you’ll also experience grounding, mindfulness, and somatic practices to help you feel present and supported.

Whether you’re working through something from the past, dealing with something happening now, or noticing patterns that keep showing up in your life, you’ll be encouraged to move at your own pace.

No rushing. No pressure to go somewhere you’re not ready to go.

EMDR | At | Your Pace

EMDR isn’t about forcing you to relive the past or pushing through something before you’re ready.

Your clinician is there to guide and support you throughout the process. And because you’re stepping away from your everyday routine, you’ll have something we don’t always get enough of in daily life: time and space to pause, process, and take care of yourself.

The goal isn’t to fix everything in a few days. It’s to give you a supportive space to do meaningful work, reconnect with yourself, and take steps forward in a way that feels right for you.
